BOOK PROJECT
THE FAMILY IMPRINT: A Daughter’s Portrait of Love and Loss
Nancy Borowick began this project as a student, photographing her parents and their enduring relationship. When both parents were unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer, the work evolved over several years into a deeply personal record of illness, caregiving, love, and loss. As the family story changed, so did the photographs and the book, ultimately becoming a moving meditation on family, resilience, and mortality.
My Contribution: Content collaboration, photo editing, sequencing, and shaping book development. I worked with Borowick throughout the evolution of the project as new experiences and photographs continually changed its meaning.
