AFGHANISTAN: THE ROAD TO KABUL
Following the events of September 11, 2001, Ron Haviv and journalist Ilana Ozernoy traveled across Afghanistan, documenting the road to Kabul and the collapse of the Taliban regime. Shortly afterward, I traveled to Milan to work intensively with Haviv on the photographs, helping shape a rapidly developing archive into a book that captured a nation at a pivotal moment in its modern history.
My Contribution: Collaborative sorting, selecting, sequencing, shaping book development, exhibition curation, and foreword.
