ALL THE COLORS I AM INSIDE
Landscape, natural forms, intimate interiors, and the human presence move through this lush and contemplative work with a quiet sense of connection. The photographs inhabit the space between the physical and the spiritual, drawn together by an intuitive sensitivity to light, color, atmosphere, and energy. At its heart is an exploration of the four elements—earth, air, fire, and water—revealing unexpected correspondences between the world outside us and what we carry within.
Achak’s soft yet determined eye is drawn to moments of stillness, whether in landscapes she traveled through or the quiet intimacy of a room, creating a visual language in which seemingly disparate moments begin to resonate with one another.
My Contribution: Collaborative selection and sequencing, shaping book development and process, and contributing the afterword.
